Day 2 - Dubrovnik

Got going early today there is so much to see and not much time....We leave tomorrow.
Had breakfast at the Ploce gate cheese omelette and tea, that saw us through to lunch. Walked the wall around the old city from the Ploce gate, fewer people and a lovely perspective of the Old City when walking it this way round. Stopped off at the market at the Pile gate and the Konzum (Supermarket) to get some supplies for lunch and supper.
The views from the Fort  are amazing over the Old City and  Lokrum a small uninhabited island a short distance from the coast.
We popped into DVino to taste the wines of the area. We tasted wines from different terroirs on the Pelasjac Peninsula. They were all made from the Plavac Mali varietal related to Zinfandel. We really liked all three different styles Plavac, Postup and Dingac. All from the Matusko Winery. We blew the budget for the day so it was rolls and salami on the Harbour wall!
